"It is an ongoing issue that goes back to several years ago when Pieter 
stepped down and then had his fighting authorizations removed (odd since he 
was the Marshal at Pennsic for so many years). He attempted through several 
reigns to have himself reinstated and in the process became problematic to 
the crowns (lots of letters, calls, etc. that he wouldn't stop with). 
Eventually it came to this, but the exact details don't seem to be 
available. I note that this is only what I've gleaned from other sources 
this afternoon and I have no personal knowledge (though I have known Pieter 
and Nan from the time before Pieter's knighting)."

So, maybe somebody got annoyed, got an order of protection, and someone else 
violated it?
