[Great Hall of Rockwall] LAnce's Dad

Greetings all
 
I apologize if some of you get this  news twice,  Grietje said she did not 
get the first one, so perhaps others  didn't either.
 
As we all thought yesterday,  Lance's dad, Louie is not doing good at all.  
 
As it turns out, he "died" Tuesday  night, and AGAINST his DNR, Lances' 
sisters, in their infinite stupidity, over  rode the order and had hid revived.  To 
"Protect" Lance, they didn't tell  him this, his brother-in-law, the Bimbo's 
husband did.  Rocky thought Lance  ought to know (ya think!!!!!!)
 
Louie did know Lance for a while on  Friday night, before he slipped back off 
into the Alzheimer's twilight.   Lance said his dad  kept asking why he was 
still here, he just wants to go  "home".  He is ready to die, and it is only a 
matter of time now,   weeks at the most perhaps. 
 
Lance said he did get him to eat a  few bites of mashed potatoes, but that 
Dad only did to please Lance,  He  really isn't eating.  We both think he is 
ready to leave us.  He has  shrunk to skin and bones, and is very fragile.
 
In a strange way, I think this  weekend helped Lance , but it will still be 
hard.  Please keep us in your  thoughts as we prepare for his Dad's eventual 
passing.  
 
Lance did stay with friends Friday  night and that helped take some of the 
edge off.
