sounds luscious,  I saw  currants for sale at a roadside stand the other 
day.now if I could just remember  where.........
 
I am also ready to start a peach or  blackberry cordial.

I started  a traditional mead last night, with just a little bit of 
Ribena (the black  currant concentrate that makes such a LOVELY cordial, 
or even a tasty  kiddie drink mixed with plain ol' water) added for 
now--eventually it will  become a full-fledged black currant melomel. :-) 
WAY too young to try at  the next campout, but maybe by the holidays.... 
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
