Hail to the Hall
 
Greetings good gentles
 
The Field trip to the Chicago Institute of Art  was a wonderful success.  
Grietje, Kelley, Connall, Kelli and myself all  went.  Illness and other business 
kept others away.  Maybe  next time. 
 
Many thanks to Kelli for acting as Sherpa; she  did a great job, didn't lose 
a one of us.
 
The museum was absolutely astonishing.  I  got to see the Monet's,  Kelli saw 
the Nighthawks, G saw the Suerats,   Conall saw the armor hall.  and  lots 
and lots of other stuff. a true  assault on the senses.  
 
I have enough ideas for field trips for about the  next three years
 
Da Vinci, King Tut, Astronomy, the Botanic  Gardens, the Shedds,  lots to do 
and the train is the way to go,  $5 a  person for the whole weekend.   as long 
as it goes where we need to  go.  and you can eat on the train!!!
