[Great Hall of Rockwall] Birthday Stuff

Greetings on this very frigid January morning!

Lest anyone has forgotten what was decided yesterday, here is a recap:

The ad copy for the March Northwatch is due February 1 (that's this  
coming Thursday, folks). We'll use last year's copy and adjust where  
necessary.

Date: May 5, 2007
Location: Same as last year (Johnstown Community Center)
Pricing: Same as last year (CHEAP)

Mead Wars South II will be held. Judges needed...

Classes: Holding a Feast, May Day, Chain Mail, ME Dance,  
Basket-making, and a drumming circle

Games: open board-gaming all day (rules, boards, pieces provided, and  
folks can also bring their own)

Archery: Shoot from 1-3pm

Seige weapons entirely welcome (trebuchet bocce, anyone?)

Feast: Potluck like last year's. The main dish will be the lamb stew  
from Curye on Inglysch: lamb, chicken stock, onions, herbs, spices (no  
anise or cloves!), white wine, eggs, lemon juice. We'll be contacting  
Sorg's to see about pricing for meat.

Dancing: After feast, with lessons as need be. This will NOT be a formal ball.

Also: We're having a shire rummage the weekend of June 30/July 1, at  
Lone Stone Manor, for a fundraiser. Bring your stuff!
