I feel your pain. I got slapped with an expensive, nasty surprise when my 
car broke down last Friday. It's never fun, and always happens when you can 
least afford it. It's great that you're OK and you've made it safe.

The next meeting will definitely be on the 30th. I just wanted to double 
check, since my household planned to go have a second look at a potential 
new Bearfolk Den Saturday morning. The meeting will have a floating start 
time--it will start whenever one of us looks up and realizes we have enough 
officers present for a quorum. I'd estimate that to be around 3 or 4 p.m., 
the way everything is going, but I plan to be there much earlier for the 
garage sale.  The address of Lone Stone Manor is on the shire site, but 
please let us know if you need directions. Sorry for the open-ended nature 
of these arrangements, but with work/school/camp schedules in flux, it is 
the only option. Besides, we're a fairly laid-back bunch. You'll learn that 
soon enough.

For everyone else: Lorriedel is improving, but still far from 100%. Friday 
was her first time out of the house (other than doctor appointments) since 
falling ill. Of course, that meant that she was in my car when it broke 
down. But while we were stranded, she got to see the 17-year cicadas, which 
she thinks look just like Mothra. I agree, but if those little women show 
up, I'm otta here!
