I've let the event steward know we'll be happy to "do lunch."

I have a little more information on the financial technicalities. We do 
indeed get money up front from CAM. Out of the profits earned, we repay 
that PLUS 15% of the remainder. This extra 15% is a fee, written in the 
contract they have with their site. It's ultimately going to the site, 
but people being what they are, getting a check from us for that 
percentage will only confuse them (it's happened before, hence the info 
I got)--so we write one check to CAM, letting them know how much is to 
be paid to the site, and they take care of it.

Upshot is, we keep 85% of the profits.

I'll bring printouts of the emails to the next business meeting.
