  I'm sure that this really is no surprise to anyone in the group, but  
I am finally  going to admit defeat. For 5 years, give or take, I have  
served the group as Webminister and Archery Marshal. Over the past  
year I would question my right to say I served the group at all. I am  
aware that everyone understands why things have been the way they are,  
but it doesn't change the way I feel. I realize that I've been kidding  
myself into thinking that I'm doing any good by holding offices when I  
haven't actually done anything other than file my reports in a year.  
To this end I have decided that it is time to stop announcing that I'd  
like to get out of office and say that I WILL be stepping down soon.

I am putting out a final call for a replacement webminister. Any  
person with an interest in web design is welcome. I will be happy to  
teach if needed and there really is no need to fear the current site,  
as it will most likely be torn down soon and replaced with a much more  
basic site (or possibly just rolled back to the old shire site which  
is still available on the server).

My position as Archery Marshal is a bit harder to give away since  
there is a lot training and hoops to jump through. If anyone is  
interested, I will help gather all of the information and serve as a  
Mentor if the RDM approves.

This is by far the hardest part of the message for me, but it's also  
the most important. If no one is interested in these offices, they  
will be left empty. I feel that is essentially how they are now, so  
maybe it isn't a big deal.

My apologies to the group for taking so long to step down. I also  
apologize for sending this out in an email. I hadn't solidified my  
decision as of the last meeting and I didn't want to make this  
announcement at Birthday.
