i like the meet the folk feature idea.
mundane or persona
and might I suggest unusual ??? i mean most people have a "dream" but what
about what dream are you glad you Didn't follow. what would you do with a
million dollars? what irritates you the most--your biggest pet peeve. what
music do you only listen to when you are alone?
you get the idea

OK shirefolk, it's that time again. Time to consider submissions to the next
 issue of the Horn's Call!

I will accept just about anything...movie and book reviews, how-to articles,
"no sh*t, I was there!" war stories, art, personal manifestos, opinion
pieces and the like are just a small sliver of what I accept. Really, so long as
it is not libelous or obscene, I'm not picky.

You can e-mail me your stuff here at willowhare at hotmail.com, either as the
body of a message or as an attachment, preferably in the Wordpad or Write
format. I will also accept paper submissions at the business meeting next
weekend. Type-written manuscripts are of course preferred, but beggars can't be
choosers.

I am also considering adding a new feature to the newsletter: "Meet the
Shirefolk". Think you know your fellow drunk and/or disorderly re-enactors? We'll
just see about that! I'm thinking a simple questionnarie about the
backgrounds and lives of the folks we all play with. I'll volunteer to be the first
victim. If you've got any questions you want in the list, or think this is a
half-fannied idea that should be killed now, send them over.

Edda
