all righty then
what time on the 17th? whenever one can arrive? Not too early I hope. I
have a new cake recipe I want to try .......
bug juice is a requirement at any such event, goes without saying. at
anything outdoors as far as I am concerned. I swear the little blighters see me
coming.

and almost everyone has at least 2 or 3 coolers so we can manage, we always
do. if worse comes to worse we can make ice runs.

and drumming oh goodie
I love drumming and dancing. two classes, that will be fun.
Conir will bring his dumbek too. his hand is clearing up enough he thinks
he can try drumming.

FIREWORKS. can we shoot them off at your place? if not, we can save them
for July 4 at Lone Stone.

I can definitely teach you how to drum. I don't know anything (yet)
about bongos, but I always bring spare doumbeks along to events like
these.

In fact, I'm starting to plan not one but two drumming classes for
Memorial weekend. One for people who know a bit about drumming, the
other for people who know little to nothing about it. So get there
early - classes fill up fast! Oh who am I kidding? I'll probably have
a drum in my hands half the time and be more than willing to blather
about it to anyone who will listen.

Now, I'm off to look up bongo instructions...

supposed to make good fertilizer; we'll see. I can't imagine running out of
firewood. I have a chain saw if need be (and many more manually powered devises
when all else fails).

coolers. I have the one coffee maker but do have another carafe to use while
more is brewing so the urn is optional. How many people are we planning on??? A
port-o-john was mentioned at one time.

have already made an appearance here as soon as it warms up in the least. Blood
thirsty beasts.

and boy am I looking forward to a LLLLLOOOONNNNNNGGGG weekend. I would be
able to get to your place after supper on Thursday if that works for last
minute set up.

Shire Should have a couple as well. Last I knew they were at Lone Stone.

there is any place we can't set up tents, you will have to let us know. For
example, do you want to freak the neighbors or not? what about alcohol?
drumming and dancing around the fire upset any one? do you have enough firewood?

be good in the cooking department. we just need to know who wants to do what
meal. I have 4 racks of ribs for at least part of one supper. since it is
pork we will need another entree to go with them. and I can pick up a couple
of boxes of homades too. How are you set for refrigeration?

hard core coffee addicts in the group, just in case you haven't figured that
out yet.

> Memorial weekend is fast approaching. Eek. I would appreciate any
help getting set up for the sale. Next weekend being mother's day has become
filled with family stuff around here. But other than that my schedule is
pretty flexible. If anyone has time during the week or weekends other than next
weekend, just call me (262-642-3719 or 262-745-2069) and we'll do it. I think
I have enough stickers/ tags. We could use some tables. I have some signs and
can make some more. If you have things you would like to contribute, bring
them (hopefully before the sale). I am thinking of starting the sale Friday
if all is ready because the hard core rummagers are out even though the city-
wide sale isn't official until Saturday. (I've been getting asked about it by
neighbors etc. already). Can anybody lend a hand on Friday? Saturday
morning is another busy time.
> As for camping- what do you need from me? Other than a kitchen, I
have a gas grill, I have a grate that I use over the burning pit to cook. I
have a tripod for over coals too (not a very good one though). I have cast
iron for cooking over a fire too. What else?????????????

yard/rummage sale, many thanks to Kim for the idea and the use of her home
and garage. We will need a few people to gather and help Kim with the
pricing, arranging, etc. ( Plus to get first crack at the goodies ;-)) be
thinking of what shift you want to "work" during the sale, because I know of at
least two people who are planning on hitting some of the other sales areas.

which meal you want to participate in/make/help prepare. be aware of food
allergies please, we don't want to make any emergency room trips.---watermelon,
cloves, mushrooms.
